More than 100 people attended the oversubscribed EnergyDays program on Metal Fuels, held on 27 October 2016 at TU/e. The program was organized for a broad audience from inside and outside Eindhoven University of Technology in order to disseminate knowledge, stimulate discussions, and address energy issues. Keynote speakers from academia and industry presented their views, solutions and outlooks so that current developments in the field can be understood and put into perspective. After the lectures, there was ample time for discussion.
The program was introduced by Laetitia Ouillet
director of Strategic Area Energy and prof. Niels Deen - chair of the multiphase and reactive flow research group, both at TU/e. The program included 3 guest presentations by:
- prof. Jeff Bergthorson of McGill University (Montreal, Canada),
- dr. Yuriy Shoshin of TU/e
- dr. John van der Schaaf of TU/e
The program was concluded with a vivid panel discussion and drinks afterwards.
